The idea of Daze came from a very simple question that we often ask ourselves as security testers:
"how does this work?"
We started asking this question about Azure and Entra technology a decade ago, and still find ourselves asking the same question over and over again as new features and services are born. We found that the answers to that simple question often make us question our pre-existing notions of what makes a system secure.
We continue to ask that question, and we use the answers that we discover to improve the quality of cyber security practices in the Azure and Entra deployments of our customers.
At Daze, we value critical thinking and an inquisitive approach above all. A truly curious and critical mindset does not only enable discovery and innovation - it drives other values that we at Daze appreciate: humility, tolerance of change, and empathy.
We are explorers, investigators, researchers, and security enthusiasts that like to ask difficult questions and relentlessly pursue the answers. This newfound knowledge arms us with new ways to protect the organizations that support our communities against the adversaries they don't know they have.
